Canine Health Events
Canine Health Events Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to raising money for canine health research by working with dog clubs to sponsor dog events and related activities, such as raffles, auctions and sponsorships. (Read more...)

Since 2005, the CHE team, our partner dog clubs and dedicated dog-lovers have raised over $155,000 that is now supporting many important canine health research studies and programs. (Read more...)

  • The August 6, 2011 Canine Athlete's Academy® with Chris Zink, D.V.M., Ph.D.!! was a huge success, netting $5,800 for CHE! Our thanks to Chris Zink, Betsy Scappichio of Top Dog, Deb D'Elia and her team, as well as everyone who joined us that day! More info...


  • Since the summer heat is upon us, here is an excellent paper by Nate Baxter DVM on how to avoid canine heat stroke! Heat stroke is a medical emergency so print this out, prepare ahead of time and keep it in your house and vehicle.


  • CHE and SNAP sponsored an informative talk by Dr John Sapienza, DVM on Pigmentary Uveitis in the Golden Retriever on June 21, 2011. We'll be posting notes soon!


  • CHE and Southern Berkshire Golden Retriever Club raised over $11,000 for canine health research at their June agility trial!!

  • Fighting Leptospirosis--CHE and SBGRC joined actress Betty White and Sir Elton John by donating to the Morris Animal Foundation to sponsor a study to assess the prevalence of Leptospirosis across the United States. More info...
