"Flyer"

DOB: 9/24/1994

Flyer at 13

Flyer was diagnosed with breast cancer six years ago. I had found a lump when grooming her and got her to the vet immediately. Since Flyer had been bred a number of times, I knew that breast cancer was a possibility. She had surgery within days and was given a clean bill of health six months later.

For four years after her diagnosis, Flyer thrived. Then she faced Cushings disease and eventually Addisons (the treatment for Cushings made her Addisonal). However, she recently celebrated her 13 and a half birthday. We are grateful she is still with us, enriching our lives every day.
